Leptotrichia buccalis : ウィキペディア英語版 | Leptotrichia buccalis
Leptotrichia buccalis is an anaerobic, gram-negative rod bacteria. It is a constituent of normal oral flora. Leptotrichia buccalis can be clearly identified using live blood analysis in dark field. They have a distinct form, which separates them from other rod forms. ==Pathology== Almost every case of severe infection with Leptotrichia buccalis reported in medical literature occurred in patients with neutropenia. Holistic dentists claim that dental granulomas following root canal fillings are likely to be caused by Leptotrichia buccalis. Very little can be found in dental or medical publications on the subject however. The majority of patients with Leptotrichia buccalis in their blood have root canal fillings, which would support the claim of holistic dentists.
